Only got one of course A, which was timed and really fun...but left the camera rolling for my course B runs.

Started off at 30.xxx times and knocked it down all the way to a 23.987! Very stoked with the event and the improvement...minus the muddy flipflops my instructor was awesome and really helpful. Will def. do again soon!

The camera's facing the wrong way!

Speaking of cameras, I'm trying to decide what I want to do for VIR. I've got the GoPro, the Contour, and my phone records 1080p, so I've got to figure out where I want to record and which camera is best suited for which location.

Everyone is on a GorPro bandwagon, but I'm to cheap to hop on That's my Canon Powershot in standard def., if I do high def I can only record 10 min due to a file size limitation.

I've always wanted to do one of my feet and then layer it back onto the original video. I've got to contemplate where I'm putting my cameras now too. Especially now that I don't have this really nifty center console behind my head!

Here's a little animated gif of some sliding action from yesterday's event. I didn't have the fastest times, but I sure had a lot of fun.

Here's a video of my last run. I whacked a cone on the long slalom, and generally drove poorly, but again, had a lot of fun. Sorry about the sound. I need to figure out what is going on there.

Glad you guys had such a good time. I was mega-envious of Saturday's weather, but Sunday was fine too--even if a little cloudy. I kept swinging too wide on the right-hand sweeper costing my time and distance, but the oversteer was fun (especially coming from the pushy, heavy WRX I've been driving.)

Awesome to see all the S2ks out there, too! We Rulez!

Here's a side-by-side of my slowest (left frame) and fastest (right frame) runs. Slow out of the pivot cost me 2 seconds by the end of the run...

Brett, your camera is fine as long as either it's facing forward or there's something interesting to look at behind you

I should invest in a gopro, but I'm too cheap
