What do you pay for insurance in SC?
I'm about to buy a 2005 S2000 as a second car, and I can't help but think my insurance company is about to rip me off. I knew it was going to be high, but the quote they just gave me was ridiculas. I tried every different scenario and the rate didn't change that much. Either way, the quote was MUCH higher than the same quote a year ago when I was considering a new 2004.
Anyway... enough griping...
Let me know what you're paying for insurance and all the pertinent info.
- company
- year of car
- coverages
- deductibles
- accidents
- tickets
- gender
- age
- marital status
- height
- weight
- shoe size
okay maybe not the last couple.
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

USAA
2002
100/300 liability + collision + 0-deductable glass
$1000 deductable
1 accident this past Labor Day, resulted in a 2-point ticket
Male

Single
short
fat
8
plug all that into some magic formula and they tell me I owe $140/month. That also includes my 1990 Isuzu Trooper with liability coverage only. My homeowners insurance is also with USAA.

Yeah, Lexington County, in general, is definitely the ghetto...
I'm sure my high insurance has nothing to do with owning an S2000 under age 25!
Now as for the property taxes... bend over!
