P1 Auto

Located just south of the boarder off 521. Easy to get to.

Nate has had them do a lot of work on his S.

I've hung out and talked to them alot, and when the time comes for performance mods, I will let them work on my car.

Last time I was there, they were dynoing and tuning a kid's civic that drove from mississippi because of P1 Auto reputation in dyno tuning.

They will also be the first ones to tell you that until you want to put boost to the engine, you won't be satisfied with the money you spend on performance for an S.

Jack at P1 is a dyno tuning magician. P1 is the only place I would go for dyno tuning. They are presently breaking in a J's racing engine with full ems tuning to follow. Try

www.P1auto.com

or call (803)396-3800.

It`s my car. but I have a engine check lamp probrem.
"P0411 - secondary air injection system incorrect flow"
Jack had triple checked all the wiring AND piping, but he can not find the reason
for the lamp.
I need to pass the NC emission test,if anyone has a good idea plaese let me know.

Thanks,

Kazu

Could be a vacuum line, although Dante had the same code and the dealer eventually had to replace the ECU to solve it.

Are you running the stock ecu or the ems now? You'll have to have the stock ecu for the NC inspection. There's nowhere to plug in for the obd2 on the ems.

The light could be due to the higher compression of the new motor with the stock ecu along with all your mods which increase airflow. I don't know, I'm just guessing. I don't have any paperwork to back any of that up.

Your car is hot by the way. That J's oil filter safety thing is the coolest thing I've seen in a while.

Yeah, the 0411, and 0410 codes are for your O2 vavles and sensor on the emissions equipment. Mine was off and on for months, dealer tried everything they could and never found a problem, so they eventually just replaced the ECU. On the bright side, it never seemed to affect the drivability or gas milage. Several other people told me they got that code when a leaf or something got stuck in the vavle. They just cleaned it out and reset it and they were fine. You might try that first.

Thanks, every buddy.

My S passed NC emission test today.
(Just warm up the engine and reset the stock ecu)
They found one problem about secondary air injection system but it`s still passed.

I need to do break-in 1,000mile,after break-in Jack will be do the dyno tuning with AEM.
