Default Why ?

A friend and I were "standing" outside a local restaurant here in Wilmington(El Agave) and a kid in a black s2k w/ a hardtop and bronze wheels of some sort revved up on us....

Whats the point?

to get us to turn our heads to show off your car?
to get us to chase after you to street race?

Maybe I am just getting old, 40 is just right around the corner....

I guess w/ the price of these cars dropping so low, anyone w/ a little money can own one now...

I just hope you treat your s2k w/ some respect on the street before you hurt someone else or yourself....

I know first hand from autox how quickly the tail end can get out of control on these cars, I hope you do....

/end rant

I too have noticed that as the value of our car lowers, more "less than" responsible drivers are acquiring them.

Perhaps you should have walked over and offered him some of your knowledge and wisdom.

I've got bad news for you, it has nothing to do with the S2k itself or age.

I agree with the statement that as the cars are coming down in price, younger people are buying them. I got mine at age 23. But people of all ages in all cars do this crap. Best thing to do is ignore them. They will either figure out it's stupid or keep doing it until they do something dumb and total the car, or just keep on living as a douche bag.

Oh and you almost got the Jay-Z line right, "You can pay for school but you can't buy class."
