Default WTB: AP2 front bumper, Silverstone

I've not been on here in forever, and it looks a lot different. I've gotten the S2000 out of the garage, and am driving it around a lot more. Recently, I had the front bumper replaced, at considerable expense, following an incident at Solo Nationals in 2010. Bottom line is, the shop that did the work botched the match on the color. I was going to let it go, but it keeps bothering me. In the meantime, a couple of autocrosses have scratched the bumper up some, and even dislodged the center grille, which means I seriously doubt the shop will be interested in fixing it up anymore. And it's been well over a year anyway. So, I figured I'd check around for a stock AP2 nose with factory original paint.

For those I do know, but I haven't seen in a long time, I got engaged at the beginning of the year. Fiancee lives out of town, so we only have the weekends together, and wedding planning is hard work. That's part of why I haven't been able to make any meets recently. We were actually hoping to see some S2000 people at the Cars and Coffee thing in downtown Durham, but it was very sparsely attended.

Anyway, if anyone has one or knows of a stock, good condition, Silverstone AP2 nose, hit me up. And thanks!

Yeah, I should have had Gibson put it right immediately. But I was in a hurry to get the car back for an event, and then life got busy, and now I'm pretty sure it's too late. And honestly, I'm not convinced he could make it any closer. He had the car for a couple of weeks and still managed to not only miss the match, the bumper isn't even on there right.

Junkyard finds for an 18 year old Mercedes are pretty easy, and I've never, ever seen an S2000 at a yard. And I've looked. So it's down to finding one for sale by someone who bought a fancy JDM nose for theirs.

I wonder what Matt (Saki GT) did with his OEM nose when he changed his?? It is GPW but I am sure you figured you had to paint it.

Well, that's what I'm hoping to avoid by finding a factory original silverstone one. The problems seem to be created by having stuff painted. Seems like the match is never right.
