Thank you, again for looking out. I am not looking to spend 3k on the OEM top. If I have to travel, somewhere in the 2k range. If it's closer to me I would be inclined to pay more.

Thank you again!

GL - haven't seen one sell for that in a while - esp a BB. But hopefully you can find one!

OTOH, at 2k, plus a few hundred for install hardware, and the install time, you're really not that far away $$$ wise than a new one, and the deal saves a TON of $$ over ordering one new from a local dealer,

Don't forget you may need new strikers as well depending on how worn yours are.

And lastly, don't forget, a used top is something of a crapshoot. If they are not properly stored they WILL warp, and if the seals are not properly cared for, they will deteriorate, causing the top to rattle. Both issues lead to wind noise that cannot always be corrected. So insist on a test drive after installation, with return privs if the top doesn't seal correctly.

Never knew these things wrapped! That's really good to know. I see them go for around 2k in my area with all hardware. Just none going right now, or in the color I would prefer. With spring/summer coming up fast, I am not in too much of a rush. I am a top down whore...

My HTs both come off as soon as the weather breaks. I'm with you on that!

But I usually put my hardtop on in July/August. Not only does it look cool, it is cool, and it beats sweating....

Where in MD are you from? I lived in Ellicott City/Columbia until I moved to Fort Bragg.
