Wink WTB GPW rear bumper

So, I need a new rear bumper. My insurance adjuster quoted repairs on my S at
$2000, $260 for a reconditioned rear bumper - should I go stock?

Also, feel free to PPD as is tradition: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=373142

Stay stock is my advice. Fit, finish...these are all things to consider.

Really?

I was thinking of just getting the Veilside rear bumper, change it up a bit.

If you get the Veilside rear bumper, I will see you at the next Raleigh gathering with this in my hand.

So I passed a minivan tonight.

It was on my way home from the gym, taking the back roads back. No hurry, going 50 mph in the 45 as is the norm. I came up on a minivan going 35-40 mph, and when I got to the passing zone, accelerated to 55-60 and passed.

No big deal right? Well, it was for the minivan. The driver went from a plodding 40 mph to tailgating me with brights on at 55 for about a quarter mile, until the first bend in the road, then they started to back off. I just kept on my way back at 50 mph.

A few miles down the road, I hit an intersection with a light, and as I'm waiting, the minivan comes along. I look over and as it sidles next to me, I get this ugly glare from some PTA mom and she pulls ahead of me. So, naturally, I pull up as well and look over at her, only now she won't look back.

So, the light turns green, and I wait for her to move, and she turns left.

What is the deal with people and getting passed? If you're driving slow, and you're in a passing zone, you should expect it. Even if you don't expect it, tailgating and speeding isn't the answer. So much for a live and let live attitude. Also, to that lady driver, the brights are for when you're driving at night on dark back roads, not when you're following another car.
