WTB Radiator
Ron bought my radiator and he will receive it by Tuesday. I'm glad to help out a fellow s2k'r. I hope to make it to the Dragon in the near future. My car is down now with head build and new turbo upgrades. See you guys soon.
Niiiiiiiiiiice...and an '02 radiator too...those are extra nice...Sheila will notice a big jump in hp too...everyone knows that in all of the '02 models, the stock radiator was extra special.
Glad you got it resolved Ron...if you hadn't, Sheila would be driving a red car!

Sheila's new radiator arrived right on time from Spoolin yesterday and I'm going to drop it in today. I'm pleased as punch with the whole deal even if I did have to get one of those slow 2002 parts. (
for Raul) Personally, I think all the rest of the MY2000 car will push it up to full speed.
Thanks again, Spoolin!

I've had a bitch of a time bleeding both of my cars after doing cooling system stuff. Park the car with the nose higher than the rear. If you can, make the radiator the highest point in the system and let the car idle with the rad cap off. That's been the most consistently successful method for me.
Not a problem man. I'm just glad it made it to you safe. You know how UPS can treat things at times.
As for bleeding the system, you are correct on raising the front of the car. Another good thing to do is to go to an auto parts store and get a universal radiator bleeder kit. I got mine at NAPA for about $25. Its a funnel with various caps to fit different radiators and you just attach it to the radiator with the correct cap and bleed away. It helps out so much by letting the car run and watch all the bubbles flow out without antifreeze spilling all over the place.
