I'll be traveling to Asheville on wednesday and to Fontana Dam on thursday night after meeting the OKI crew at the Park Grill. Can't wait.

Sure, if we can time it right. We (yes, my wife will join me this time) are thinking about leaving Holly Springs by 10:00 am. That puts us by RDU @ 10:25 am.

Where are you staying wednesday night?

 

Got the reservations @ FV and paid for me and the 'ol lady a spot. This will be my first WTD.

 

When are you getting there?

 

kate isn't getting out of work until 3PM on Friday...so late Friday. I'll be at the morning meet for n00bs Sat. morning.

 

A few of us from Florence/Sumter/Columbia will be leaving Thursday morning.

 

Are you driving I-26 all the way to Asheville and then taking US 74 West straight to Fontana? I'll be in Asheville till about 3:00 or 4:00 pm.

 

Hmmmm..... I'm thinking about it. I'm most likely moving back up north to the midwest and this is probaby my last chance while still here in NC. Never been there but the S has been (last owner took it there when we had it and put the dragon on the trunk.) Talking it over with the wife
