In the past few months alot developers have been buying up piers and land to put up private Condos and have been eliminating public beach accesses. Bogue inlet pier is one of the only piers not bought and torn down yet. Please sign this petition in hopes of keeping it around for the public. Hopefully the town of Emerald Isle we be able to buy it.

Are you sure about this? I heard that Bogue Inlet Pier was already SOLD...

 

Yeah, originally the owner said it wasnt for sale, then the owner said it was being sold, then he said it is up for sale....now the town is wanting to buy it.

 

This private beach thing sucks here in NC. I think all beaches should be public.
