OK, I'm trying to calm down here, but that elbow made me want to fight somebody. And the CBS announcer just wouldn't shut up about how it wasn't intentional. You could argue that maybe it's unclear if it was intentional. Maybe. But that's as far as I'm willing to go, and that's only after several deep breaths.

Anyway, I really hate Duke. A lot.

 

What do you expect from Billy Packer?

My wife is like you! If it was McRoberts I would bet it was intentional, but I don't think Henderson is that kind of guy. He is best friends and ex-high school teamate to UNC's Ellington. Anyway, I hope Hansbrough will be able to play in the ACC tournament.

^^^^ I agree. I was a bad call. I think they should have called a T for aggressive play, but not eject him from the game. in real time it looked nasty, but when you slow it down and look at the slow motion replay you can see Henderson was after the ball, not Hansbrough.

 

Doesnt matter a whole lot to me either way.. Unc and Duke both get wayy too many calls and play semi dirty so i thought it was kinda interesting to say the least. Henderson was going after the ball, he just has to learn you cant touch the ACC's Golden Boy( as J. Dudley said)

 

I want to retract this statement. After watching numberous replays from several angles this morning I have changed my mind. I do beleive that the call is just, and a flagerant foul happened. Also Billy Packer is a ding dong. Yesterday when I watched it I was at a bar and really could hear commentary, it was all yells and screams. After watching ESPN this morning and seeing some replays, I do beleive that Henderson may have initally been going for the ball, but after seeing the ball nowhere near he decided to come down with that elbow and hit whoever was there, which was Hansbrough.

You cannot be serious. Have you seen the replay? Really seen it? Taken off your Clemson-colored glasses and really looked at it? His nose was pouring blood from inside and out. This was not some touch foul.

Could it be that this is just misplaced frustration since your Tigers have disappointed you yet again in yet another sport?

 

It was a flagrant foul, he came in paint with the intent to knock the shit out of Psycho T... the only thing he didnt intend on happening is busting his nose to where we would get in trouble for it. He deserves to be suspended more than 1 game... but being Dook and the favoritism they get Ill take what I can get. The good thing is, we swept them (3 games in a row actually) while beating their ass and they got their reputation bashed. Maybe theyll start calling half of the fouls T.H. draws.

 

also, I dont know what pisses me off more about it... the fact it happened. Or the fact that Coach K tried to blame it on Roy for happening.
