hate to burst your bubble, but you might have to lower your asking price considerably.......you can get a new one for $29k

I have a question? Do all you guys that inform people of their faulty price not have anything else to do? Clearly, if you are not looking for a car to purchase, then why would you guys spend your free time telling people how their ads suck or offering lower prices that are absurdly low?

Just curious because GAMESON did the same thing to me until I screwed up and allowed myself to got upset with him.

I'm actually looking for a friend. If a person has too high of a price on the website they will be notified........seriously, why would anyone spend $1000 less on a USED car when they can get a brand new one for the difference? I didnt post to have the owner take offense, just to inform them of better deals so he/she can adjust their ad accordingly to sell the car....

New S2000 are retail for $33,000 where I live. I wish I would have known where to get a new one for $29,000. I paid extra to have the Lojack installed, the extended warranty added, and a few other upgrades also.

I am interested in other offers, I just need to make enough to pay it off.
Good luck with your sale..but most likely you will not get the your asking price..yes you could get 05 S2000 for $29K and 06 is coming in..

I think you are better luck with autotrader.

i wasn't about to make a comment, until I saw my name get spilled out. I already left you, gixxer, with my offer and you didn't take it, so i leave you alone. why now all of the sudden you are trying to mess with me? If you can't take my offer, so be it, why are you trying to be upset?

I agree with acbimmer. We are just trying to inform the seller that for that price, he won't be able to sell it.

I sold several cars myself and I received some offers that are too low to even be considered. I just say to them politely that the number is not in my mind, and I moved on without getting offended.

Gixxer, if you have problems with me, should just pm me instead of keeping it in you and burst it out in the open. Besides, my offer to you is not a low balled one. I didn't offer $20k for your 04, instead I offered you a fair price of $24250 for your 04 yellow since I saw another 04 yellow WITH 18 INCH SSR3 RIMS, BLITZ EXHAUST, LOWERING SPRING, etc that went for $25750. I think my price to you (your 04 is stock with only modified sound system, which I think it's crappy, that's why I asked you to take it off) is pretty fair.

WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?

Yap, I believe so. He has problems that that's the market price and he can't believe that. I saw another s2ki member here that bought an 04 silverstone for $24k with 4k miles. Gixxer car is like 6k miles.

Anyway, if gixxer wanted to know why i didn't get the $25750, so I will explain it first before you flame "why don't you get that one instead?" post. I was like a two days late to purchase that $25750 car. I was in southern cali and the seller was in northern cali. i had a plan to go to north cali on sun to buy since my work didnt allow me to go off work til sat, but he sold it on fri night.

new S2000's can be had at invoice.....$24K-$25K for a MY04 sounds very reasonable to me (and i own a MY04). In a couple of months the MY06 will be out, so sell those MY04's ASAP.
