Carfax proves Clean Title

Greetings!

You are looking at one of the most lovingly maintained Honda S2000s in SoCal! Located in the Pasadena area, this is a first year of the AP2 model, and is a particularly well looked after '04 in Silverstone metallic over the stunning combo of red/black interior. This is, in my opinion, not only the best color combo ever made for the S2K, it's also prior to the introduction of drive by wire steering and daytime running lights, so it's the best model year, along with the '05. Clean California Title is in-hand as well, so it's ready to be signed for!

This car is a 3 owner car, and I have FULL documentation of all maintenance from new, including owner's manual, oil changes, etc, along with one fob, 2 sets of keys and valet! This S2K has only 49xxx miles, and has been stored in a garage it's entire life, it even comes with a special order, custom car cover. It has never been a daily driver and was always owned as a fun car for the weekends. It has NEVER been tracked, has had regular maintenance, including both a 60K service performed at roughly 43K miles (which even included differential maintenance, an AC recharge and all new fluids in every system,) a new battery at 46K and a recent oil change in the last 400 miles. It has been looked after regularly by Nishikawa Auto in Pasadena, a specialist in Japanese cars, which has been a top shop in Pasadena for 30+ years.

The car has NO modifications to the engine, drivetrain or shocks, it's completely stock and the clutch has been inspected and adjusted as well. It also has not been steam cleaned, so all hoses and wires are in original OEM condition, engine bay is immaculate and undisturbed. This S2K comes with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires on the rear wheels installed in the last 5K miles, and slightly older Hankook tires on the fronts from roughly 10K miles ago.

In addition, this S2K has had the most common area of concern addressed, including preventative patches installed under the convertible top rails to prevent the top tearing holes in itself behind the driver and passenger side doors. Pictures are provided to show the details. Wheel locks have also been installed on the rims. The convertible top is in solid shape, but it could use some very minor stitching repair inside above the glass window, which is in excellent working condition with defrost. The top is still water tight, with no leaks, guaranteed. The car was outfitted with a custom Bluetooth unit in 2017, including microphone, which works quite well through the stock head unit and pairs automatically with any BT enabled smartphone when the car is started. This car was driven so infrequently that it also has a battery disconnect braket mounted on the battery, as it would sit for 3-4 weeks at a time, and only came out on sunny day. There is also an audio out cable installed in the cup holder area for older, non-BT audio systems. The passenger seat is dead mint, though the driver side does have minor rubbing on the left bolster, due to the challenges of getting in/out of the S2K over time.

The car was recently detailed, including a carpet shampooing, along with rock chip repair painting on the front bumper, near the passenger side front wheel.

The only downside to this S2K is that it was rear ended in 2008 by a motorcyclist, which was claimed on Carfax, as well as a minor rear repair from a fender bender (roughly $1K of damage,) and it retains a CLEAN California Title, which I have in-hand. The body shop that did the rock chip repair (which was done to a high grade and less than 200 miles ago,) put the car on a lift to inspect the rear bumper and noted that the frame is solid, and that the bumper is in excellent condition. Close up pictures are provided for reference, the panel fit is just a bit off factory, but the bumper is solid.

This S2K is as good as it gets, and I'm sad to see it go, but a growing family means it's time for a change.

Price is $20,500 OBO. PLEASE no lowball offers, this car is in immaculate condition throughout and is worth the price.

Yeah, it has a newer clear coat on the front, but I may retake, as I noticed that as well.....which is strange, because it's still the original bodypanel, only looks different in one particular picture....I can assure any interested folks that it looks exactly the same in real life though!
