Sorry guys didn't get notifications that someone replied to post. Car has been sold for 21k but having issues with buyers check and bank. Idk how this is going to end but if by Friday I don't have a clear check, I'll look into seeking legal action and take my car back. Will keep this updated.

i actually did not put that 21k updated price, a mod must have done that. I had testing waters instead but looks like that's not acceptable and they changed it to a price they chose without asking me.

is a long story but part of it yes. The bigger amount from he's bank that he finance is the issue which my bank won't accept cause the check was made out to him and my self instead of my bank which is then lien holder. I been back and forth since Monday trying to get this sorted out and I get nothing but excuse after excuse

you're safe, since the car with a lien under your bank, regardless, he won't be able to register the car until the lien removed on the title or a letter from your bank!

ohh trust me, I was a little scared on this kind of transactions with check and since day one I been saving all messages, bill of sale, copies of checks he brought, he's license number and address. Unfortunately he lives 6 hours away and took car already the day of sale but I have enough evidence to take him to court and win case if needed. I hate the fact I'm going through all this right when I'm about to close on a house and the bank is waiting on all paper trail for this transaction, delaying the process longer and chances the sellers might get pissed and I loose the deal on house.

did you cancel insurance? if not, perhaps report STOLEN if that make any sense.

yea insurance cancel but can't do that cause that's insurance fraud. I already asked a family member who is a cop and he adviced I can sue him
