Went and looked at the car today and performed a compression test. Numbers were remarkable for a car with this mileage: 245 250 250 250, motor was completely cold. Dont let the mileage scare you, motor looks to be in great heath. Didn't take it for a test drive, so Im not sure about the clutch nor the trans, but just messing with it with the car off it felt good. Took my multimeter along and with the car running it read 14.23, so alternator is good. Just thought I'd share. Thanks to Octivan for letting me come wrench on his car. 
Spark plugs are retorqued to 19 ft/lb btw
