I like having the day off.

 

I like fresh peas, raw, just got some from the farm in their pea pods, shelled a handful and ate those sweet nothings up fast. The season for fresh peas is so short we snapped them up when we can.

I like fresh strawberries from the garden.

 

I like the raspberries that I found growing next to my house yesterday while I was weeding.

 

I like that robb reminded me that when I was a kid my grandma would send me out on the property (probably to get rid of me for awhile ) with a basket to pick raspberries. When I got back we’d make a pie together.

 

I like that my Grandfather let me do that and try things on my terms vs being shamed into not liking this or that.

 

I like how I have a 7:30am meeting tomorrow even though (almost) everybody took the week off.

 

I like that the temps are a little cooler and it’s not as rainy as the forecast predicted.

 

I like that there is a cool breeze blowing throw my windows tonight.
