Justin, (and I don't mean this in a trivializing way) what matters not are the issues between you and your dad. What we, or at least myself, really care about is how you feel after your confrontation. Relieved? Unloaded some stress? Found a direction worth traveling?
Feel free to pm me (can't speak for all residents) about the issues in more depth if you want. Often just bringing them to the surface is cathartic enough. That's why we vent

almost got in a fight tonight... this guy I don't like (he tried to fight a guy... waited till the police came... then got a little bitch slap in and some other bull shit and he is suppose to be our class president) said something about my jacket tonight. He didn't directly say it to me, but it was so stupid because he was right beside me... so afterwards I asked him if he said anything about my jacket (with four football players behind me... it wasn't my idea).. and he said no, but in a gulity way... but he tells everyone he wants to fight me now... so I saw him again and he was trying to act like some hardcore punk... but I just walked away

Every once in a (great) while at work someone comes along and tweaks me. I've generally confronted these people verbally, but sometimes I get so disgusted that I just walk away. Once, only once, I seriously raised my voice at someone at work.
