What you need to realize is that being single is great too. They both have Pro's and Con's.

Single:
No one to report to.
Can go home with any chick if the oppritunity arises.
No presents to buy.

Girlfriend:
Companion
sex
love

I'm happy in either situation. I figure that while I'm single, I'll enjoy it. When or if I do find somebody, I will enjoy what a relationship has to offer.
