Yes they are ... however it will have no more power, will have slight increase on torque, and will be mated to an all new 6 speed AUTO box !!!!

 

from what I understand the 2.2 block is interchangeable with the 2.0 block but I'm gonna wait and see what the gains are. Might be better to go 2.2 with aftermarket parts.....

yes I would wait til 2004 is announced before deciding, hopefully they won't mess it up.....

EDIT: quick_lude, the 2.2 in the s2000 would be an F-Series, not an H-Series like the lude. it would be hard to get the F-series 2.2 into the FWD lude.

 

it's okay alex, just wait for the Hydrogen Muscle Car revival no smog to worry about
