I could be mistaken, but if the new OS's default max semaphore configuration is lower than the old OS. Wouldn't that potentially cause 500 errors on the Apache side?

I'm not really sure about this, in all honesty, but if problems start occurring after an OS upgrade, it's something I'd look at...

I guess that's possible but, considering they were still getting the 500 error after downgrading, I still suspect bad web code not checking system calls....

They should be using RHEL or SLES anyways...

But surely if the max biblioteque intergration system is set to manual, the old OS will override the 500 error on the frying pan stand and the rest of the Indians will be free to roam the reservation without the 499 other errors ever occuring again








..... or am I just talking bollox????
