Our big trucks usually hold 250-300 gallons (upwards of $900 to fill up at a gas station ). 125-150 gallon tanks. Medium trucks have anywhere from 40 gallon to dual 100 gallon tanks. Our new LCF trucks have either 35 or 50 gallon tanks.

We've been working on them for a decade... the cost/benefit is non-existent. Honestly, I think hybrids (which I used to be a proponent of) are 99% hype. Save a few gallons of gas a year, but put tons of toxic batteries into the landfill every year.

I actually think a locomotive hybrid is the way to go, but for some reason everyone seems to be doing the IC-assist electric car.
