Bad ass fighter! Not as bad ass as my namesake, the F22 Raptor, but still badass. Just about the dumbest thing the US has ever done was curtail F22 production at 186, rather than the 750 originally planned, for budget reasons. I blame that on both Bush and Obama, so no politics here.

 

The F35 Lightning Joint Strike Fighter, which we're going balls-to-the-walls to build and to sell to our allies, like Israel, is a wonderful fighter, but it can't shine the F22 Raptor's shoes.

 

The KC 135 is an aerial refueling tanker and a takeoff on the Boeing 707. The C17 is a short-takeoff-and-landing capable heavy lift transport.

 

We were once billeted at the Mission Inn on an AF reserve weekend. That Saturday evening my good friend Dennis got caught taking a whiz off the top of a spiral staircase in the Mission Inn at almost exactly the same time as I fell over backwards into a fountain with a lady I had just met in a bar on the mall next door to the Mission Inn. As you might imagine, alcohol was involved in both events.

They are both to see doing their laps as I call it, they don't even touch down they just swoop down then right back up. What amazes me is how slooooooooooow they appear to be going I know theyre not but it makes me think somethings wrong and they might crash

 

Another place I wanna hit at Christmas time, went there once not during the Holiday Light display and only walked the outer grounds, still pretty to see & the talking Parrots out front are hillarious I had a vid of one saying what sounded like F -YOU
