Commuter ferry to Hoboken NJ.

DAING! SO glad you weren't near there

Oh, you meant on 09/11/01. I had actually gone through the World Trade Center about a half an hour before the first plane hit. By the time I got to my office there was a breaking news story stating that either a helicopter or small plane had accidentally struck the North tower.

You were damn lucky, Mike!

Fortunate! ...It was my first day of practicum at a downtown Toronto hospital. We were on a code orange, even though it was far away, and they evacuated downtown. I can't remember how long I stayed there, but it was super eerie going home with no one on the streets or in the subway.

On a happier note (and not to take away from remembering and honouring), it was 4 years ago today I brought home S2K #2. Actually that was eerie too because I bought her in Pittsburg so there was lots of activity around the memorial area.
