Though this has been talked about in other forums I thought I'd post a link to Ad-Aware. It's free and if you run it it will detect and optionally erase (erase you fool) spyware programs like Gator which are attached to Kazaa and other freeware.

Spyware does many things like track your internet activity and open pop ups.

Highly recommended.

I've been using this for awhile now. I love it.

 

It is great. I found a sh^tload of bad stuff on my machine. (teenage kids will load anything)

What's the difference between you (or me for that matter) and a teenage kid?

 

We own houses, therefore can post bail.

 

I would need my wife's signature... therefore back to square one. I re-pose the question.
