Yeah, I recall Lendl being that way too. Quite the contrast to Conners and MacEnroe. I don't put Lendl in the same league as these champs though. I'm not sure that's fair, but Lendl doesn't stick out in my brain as one of the best.

Good news is, his kids finally get a puppy. I guess the deal he made with them is after he retires, he'd get them a puppy. I think they are too young to realize how amazing he was (mom wasn't too shabby a tennis player either ), but for them, they are probably excited they have their mom and dads full attention now.

i normally don't have anything against andre, but that speech was bad. i know he was crying and all, but it sounded like he had over-prepared for it, reading from a script full of cliches
