I thought you guys might like to see this, as I waited over 9 months to get this worked out with Honda. Now the mini-Chazmos can ride in Neb... The story behind this was ridiculous, but after all the machinations, the "approved" AHM switch is in (as of 3 weeks ago):

 

Chazmigity, what does that box on the dash do??

 

It shows you whether or not the the passenger-side airbag (SRS) is disabled, James. It's so that the airbag doesn't deploy in an accident. The key switch in the secret compartment lets me turn it on or off, depending on whether one of my little ones is riding with me.

The issue is that airbag deployment can be detrimental for young kids, James.

 

So that box on the dash is just to let you know whether or not the airbag is activated or not? Seems rather a large box just to show that.

It's good that you got the switch sorted though, now you can share your love of Neb with the rug rats

 

Did you test to see if the airbag is really disabled?
