i like playing with my dog in the snow too... but the problem is, my dog weighs about 220lbs, so if he starts jumping up and down, i have to make sure i'm not his landing pad, or i will turn into a pancake.
(i have a st. bernard...who loves snow btw)

Our dog only managed to tip the scales at about 130lb, but for a German Shepard I think that would be considered quite large anyway !!

that's a big german shephard....
i like our dog because if we angle his head right..he uisualy eats the majority of the snow from our door to the driveway and makes a nice path to walk through .. well..that's not 100% true.. he makes a partial path... then he sort of just goes randomly.. needs better training

Last year was the first snow for all of our animals. Kind of a dramatic change from Vegas. Hank just ran and ran and ran...

meanwhile, Zoe was determined to eat every last snowflake in the yard.

The cats on the other hand, sat inside and howled until it was green outside.
I'll never forget the first snow. Spencer sat in front of the window and rolled his head around to look at me, and then let out this horrid death-wail.
