Visible from the western and central US before sunset.

We're going to St. George, UT today through Monday. We'll see and shoot the annular eclipse at Kanarraville, UT on the centerline:

The eclipse is the big buzz up here in St. George. The TV news people were wearing eclipse shades. There's an article about it in USA Today. Lots of eclipse viewing get togethers. We definitely need to avoid the crowds. With two telescopes, a camera with along telephoto, and long binocs (7 solar filters), I'm going to be way too busy to deal with a bunch of people.

 

How did it go George? We were sacked in clouds here.
