They're primarily a CLEC DSL ISP that do not require phone service and they offer T1 services as well. Static IPs and no AUP. You can even resell their services to your neighbors.

Give the telcos a few years to get fiber (FIOS) laid... although it seems like Verizon is going with the package concept. 

Being a former engineer at a major MSO, I'm fully aware of their ability to provide unpackaged deals, or custom packages for every customer. Meaning that you pick the channels you want and don't want, no 12 channels of ESPN and 9 BET choices included in your "Family Entertainment" package.
But, they don't make as much on the kick backs from the networks if they offered it.
Does the on-screen channel guide on your digital tv services (cable or sat) show every channel you COULD get if you paid for it or does it only show what you are paying for?
