I had a couple of them when I was in high school and they grew to about 4 inches long. I left them with no goldfish feeders for about a week and when I came back I had ONE! The other one looked like the fish you see in the Garfield cartoons - just head and tail connected by bones. I was so pissed I let the other one starve to death and haven't had any fish for pets since...

Are they the typical red bellied Piranha? Those are the only ones you can really get around my area. If you can find the black piranha, which are rare, you'll enjoy their more aggressive nature.

ThePW - That's a good mix you got there. I think I'll try and raise some again. It's almost impossible to get them to breed though(which is what I really would like to do). Don't ever forget to feed them...they will eat each other if it came down to it. Believe me I know.
