Absolutely YES!

I needed bottom-dwelling scavengers to help "clean" the tank and thought crabs would be impervious to the piranha. I picked up some beefy Thai Devil crabs, about 4-inches in width, and they lasted about three months. The fish bit through the shell, gutted them, and left a some legs for me to clean up.

I ended up sticking to little cory catfish to scour the bottom. Cheap and expendable.

I still have vague memories of the movie 'Piranha', which scared the hell out of me!

Sounds good! They ate a couple fish while we were away this weekend. Two of the crabs are now KIA as well.

I'm still looking forward to when they get big enough to take out a fully grown cat

heh heh heh.....we have a friend who comes over and brings this little rat dog with him. We keep teasing him about feeding it to the .

Last night they ate another fish. This time it was one of the sharks. I happened to look over and see all the other fish freaking out. Then I noticed some of the piranhas thrashing a bit........they had some flesh hanging out of their mouths. We did a head count and one of them were gone.
