I can't speak of the piranha you have, but mine never liked any human interaction. They would swim away from my hand and hide... Although they may have been planning a sneak attack!

 

Did you check the pics bro....they're tiny.....well, they started off the size of a Quarter and noe they're about the size of a half dollar....all in one week! I've had Red Bellies before and they're not really keen on hands in the tank.....unless they're sneaking up on me!

how much bigger are they supposed to get?

nice tank guys! the skull was a very cool touch!

 

They should get about 4 inches long and about 1/2 to 1 inch thick. Correct me if I'm wrong Brian.

 

Are they cannibalistic

 

Only when it comes to territory and if they get really hungry. As long as we keep food in there they shouldn't kill each other.
