If work were "reality" I'd be in serious trouble (with regard to fool's errands, that is)...

Ever try to stabilize thousands of lines of code? I'm sure you guys get the picture!

I feel like a physicist at work, fighting with Heisenberg's uncertainty principle... Every time I poke around somewhere, things explode somewhere unexpected.

It is almost like that dealing with contractual disputes .....

Someone from the other side raises an issue, we search through our documents and come up with an argument against that issue .... they then look at our argument, search through the documents and come up with a further argument ..... we then do the same again ......

It is almost like a game of chess, and can be quite fun sometimes ..... especially when you win
