It is almost like that dealing with contractual disputes .....

Someone from the other side raises an issue, we search through our documents and come up with an argument against that issue .... they then look at our argument, search through the documents and come up with a further argument ..... we then do the same again ......

It is almost like a game of chess, and can be quite fun sometimes ..... especially when you win

 

I definitely see law that way, James. Absolutely, there's an element of a game -- fighting to win, especially.

With software, I daresay it's a fight to survive!
