Those Martin collectors are boned in the head. The same is true for the Gibson Les Paul freaks payin' half a mil for their axes.

Now, a Stradavarius violin, that's understandable!
Knowing what I know now of Les Pauls, I wouldn't pay more than $5K for a vintage one, or $10K for one played by someone famous.

I can't justify a $1500 Taylor electric for as badly as I play. Even then, Reverends are still flying enough under the radar, that's it's got it's own factor. . . that, and I trust the local dealer a lot.

I'll have to try one, 8D!

Something else wicked cool... The Fender Strat VG. You've gotta try one of these. Talk about versatile! The Roland synth that's built in has some wonderful sounds and alternate tunings. It's so cool.

Anyway, tallyho, 8D!

i finally watched it, it was pretty good. it explained some of the pegasus stuff, not that it needed explaining. they make a lot of tough choices on the the show, which makes for good drama. the fact that the cylons have spiritual goals is really creepy. the single best decision was for them to have humanoid cylons. i don't really watch for the action, i try to follow the story. i like that drumbeating sound during battles

Indeed!!!!

Yeah, the stuff about Pegasus in "Razor" was singlehandedly the most dark piece of science fiction I think I've ever seen. And, I've seen a lot of grim stuff. I like the drum beating too!

And, all that said, if a Cylon that looks like Trish Helfer comes calling for me -- well -- I might start praying to a Cylon god!

I've played the VG. . . pretty cool, but it freaked me out at low volumes (as you hear the strings in standard tune vs. the alternate tune).

Well. . . yeah. . . but there's only so many Black Crowes tunes I'm going to play in open G for an afternoon.

Speaking of amps. . . still digging my Vox Valvetronix. . . but am finding myself using the Fender DeLuxe (4x10) emulator as much as the AC-30.

have you seen Gibson's "robot guitar?" It tunes itself with servo motors in the tuning machines. Totally freaky!

A friend of mine sent me a link to the demo. I'd kinda get behind it except. . .

"Dude. . . your B is out."
"No way."
"Way."
"Lemme. . . shit. . . ****!!!. . . Anybody got a cell battery?!?!?!"

There was a two-hour Battlestar Galactica movie this weekend. It was UNBELIEVABLE. I've never seen anything darker and more troubling on television before -- let alone that this was science fiction!

Wow! I think I had some nightmares from that one.
it was excellent, well written and executed (no pun intended ) felt a lot tougher like the first two seasons
