apparently you should be able to. try going to the first page then scroll down to thebottom..

ok just scroll down to the bottom of this page. ther eis a box underneath the reply options that says: moderation options, with the GO button next to it. click on the arrow and scroll down. the next option is "close this topic" click it and click go..
