Apparently, I've cast my vote.

Apparently, my Suzuki is now cleared of its mouse nest and the ventilation system is working again and not smelling of urine.

Apparently, life is good, but I'm worried about the future of my country.

I also voted, Chaz. It was not a pretty sight.

I was in line at 6:10am.

The line never moved until almost 7am. What a cluster. I'm surprised more people didn't just leave. The phones were locked out, so the poll workers couldn't verify some registrations until after 7:30 (when I finally voted).

I think the Texas house of representatives designed our district. There were 4 districts labeled "Perry"; K (western Perry) and L (eastern Perry) were in a middle school that was actually located outside of Perry; E (north) and H (south), both of which are in between K and L on the map, were in a fire station that's actually in the L district. I knew where I was going, but a lot of people were totally unsure. Then, when the school busses started arriving, it was even more of a cluster. An SUV hit one of the busses (thankfully it had dropped off its kids) and the police/ambulance blocked the front entrance. Ugh.

If I was your average Joe Citizen, I'd probably never go back.

Jeff, so sorry it was such a fuck up! I hear what you're saying, and that kind of bad stuff can definitely put people off in the future.

Ultimately, I hope we'll all be voting online someday, and we'll abolish the electoral college. Well, hey, I can dream.
