Apparently I am pretty much in the same boat as far as grocery inventory although I do HAVE A BOX OF MACARONI AND CHEESE AND BUTTER AND MILK TO MAKE IT AND SAUSAGE TO PUT IN IT. But that will be for later nothing exciting to have for lunch maybe some tuner fitch.

Apparently I was driving too slow today as some j/o in a Dodge Ram with Jersey plates passed me in a no passing zone and then was on his brakes the rest of the way down the mountain.

 

Apparently there are similar j/o's here. A few summers ago in the S, top down on a 2 lane heading up into the mountains I catch up to a truck going 10 under. He proceeds to roll coal on me...TWICE. When I get to a passing spot I whale on it - but he speeds up too. One second he's going 70, the next I'm doing 140 to barely get by him. Then of course he's on my ass at 120. At that point it occurred to me: I'm a woman, alone, no cell service and there's two good ol' boys ready to run me down. I pulled into a lookout - if they followed me I was just going to turn around and head back towards town. Fortunately they didn't but it was pretty rattling.

Apparently something similar happened to me awhile back. I was behind a car and the single lane we were traveling in opened up to two lanes and there was a left hand turn up a bit to get on the highway. The car in front of me went into the left lane so I started to slowly pass him on the right and he sped up so I slowed down then he slowed down and the two lanes were merging into one, I gave him every opportunity to go ahead of me but he stayed right next to me and when the lanes merged he blared his horn and flipped me off. It took EVERY OUNCE OF RESTRAINT i HAVE TO STAY IN THE CAR but I did.
