Apparently I need to find a fresh small turkey tomorrow, it is Turkey Day in Canada this weekend. We only have three in our family celebrating this year so we don't want to do a huge turkey, we need to find the right size one.

Apparently I'm thinking that if cars can drive themselves then dinner should cook itself.

We've never owned a microwave oven as we don't cook that way. My wife's sister pretty much gets her dinner cooked automatically every night. She opens a box of something sticks it in the microwave and after the timer rings her dinner is done, she doesn't even have to dirty dishes. Not for me, but that is as easy as it gets.

We just never saw a need for one, the girls at work get a laugh when I try to use the one in the office lunch room and I'm scratching my head looking at it. At home we have used toaster ovens, I like how they cook certain foods better than microwaves.

I haven’t had a microwave in almost 10 years. Leftovers just go in a frying pan or the oven.

Great minds think alike. When my wife and I got married 20 years ago we made a decision not to own a microwave. We had one my familial home growing up and I disliked heating up pizza or bread type products in it, so preferred using toaster ovens when I got my own home.
