Apparently, I can afford a house in the mountains (SC), but when gas was $4.00/gal., was quite content living 15 minutes from work.

SF isn't 1500 ft?

Also oooo, nice. My aunt has a beach house in the Aptos hills. Gets snow about once a year. I kinda wanna see it when it's snowing there. I bet it's sweet to see the snow in the yard, and the ocean just down the hill!

EDIT: nvm, I get it, you'll be driving over the pass from SC to get to SF, and therefore be in the snow.

Apparently, no, not really driving over the mountains, but will probably have to bitch slap Beavis into staying right around Market instead of going up to the top of Twin Peaks.

Apparently oh. Apparently you don't really have a house in the mountains, do you?

AND APPARENTLY twin peaks is only 922 feet, so no snow for you

Apparently, no, I do not have a house in the Santa Cruz mountains. . . and at this point, would prove to be a PITA for me given my current work schedule.

Apparently, no dice. I have symphony tickets tomorrow night. I'm going to SF. . . if the San Francisco Symphony were playing on Mt. Diablo. . .then perhaps I'd go there instead. . . but they're not.

Apparently I'm at the fact you're going to the symphony. Apparently, only old farts do that.
