Apparently hotels are dirt cheap in Vegas right now. I stayed at the Palms for an avg of $100/night.

Its just barely off the Strip but one of the nicest hotels in Vegas. If you have the money to spend, I would suggest the Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, or Encore. Those are the newest (and nicest) hotels on the strip right now.

If youre looking for something a bit cheaper but still nice, I would suggest, New York New York, Luxor, TI, Mandalay Bay or the Mirage.
