My quandry is that, until trying that sandwich, I thought bacon went great with everything. Unfortunately, while the bacon itself was fine, it just didn't add as much to the sandwich as I was hoping.

Nyarr. . . twixt the bun of onion and the gooey cheese sauce (the color of El Dorado gold), the bacon has not much room to flavor the sandwich.
