It's usually about the time one thinks to one's self.

"I think I may have overdone it a bit tonight........"

Try a drink like Sake!

If you are still drinking when you start to think you are in trouble, then you are going to be in SERIOUS trouble that night!!!!!

We had a big night in a Japanese restaurant on the sake. After "significant" amounts of it, I found myself unable to stand without the aid of a wall or friends..... this is a very bad sign as sake continues making you worse for a good 30-45 minutes after you stop drinking it !!!!

It suddenly hits you, and you get this horrible realisation that you are going to get worse, even if you stop drinking straight away!!!!

Now that is not a good feeling, the one time I overdid it all I could think of was that I need to find a good clinic that has a stomach pump, I don't think I could have taken much more let alone knowing that it would only get worse.

It must be some pretty potent stuff.

Does it have a high alcahol content?!?!?!?!

I think it is around 20% proof.......

so it depends whether you drink it like a spirit or wine.....

I think the fact that it is slow acting and seems to build up after you have stopped drinking is the worst thing about it though!!!!!

I think the slow acting bit is what would catch everyone out. You can usually tell when it's time to start backing off but that just add's a whole new problem into the equation.

Exactly!

At least with normal drinks you know when to stop (even if you decide not to )......
