Unkie, I thought I knew most of the differences between model years, but why are people asking several thousand dollars more for '06+ s2ks over '05s? What difference does one year make?

There's a difference in the engine management systems, where I believe the newer ones are easier to modify.

. . . bear in mind this is coming from Unkie Trunkie on vacation - your answer qualalinitity is not assured.

06+ got traction control/VSA and drive-by-wire instead of a throttle cable. this is NOT easier to mod, exactly... just different.

Different, and inferior from a modding standpoint. Some trivial improvement in emissions, according to Honda (well, the trivial part was me ).

VSA is teh_suck.
