Also, is September a bad time to go to the Bay Area (weather-wise)? I'm trying to figure out what to do with 2 weeks vacation that's not very expensive, but somewhere I haven't been before. Can't imagine I'd spend 2 full weeks there, but the idea of travelling up/down the coast is appealing.

I'm not a junkfood junkie. While your Unkie loves you dearly, he's more concerned that your pool boy brings you a blizzard (or other thrills) on the regular.

The weather will range from 60-103 F. Either way, you'll have a good time.

But have you shopped in Target lately? They were at the end of an aisle that wasn't even near the food. But more to your point, that position still hasn't been filled.

103F will only be fun if I'm inside with a/c!

No. Their political inclinations run afoul of my desire to retain a sister and a wills, trusts, and estates attorney.

The Bay Area is a bitch like that in September. Could be pleasant, but it could get ugly.

Oh, and there's a reason the shops near Fisherman's Wharf sell sweaters year-round.

Why do all Asians smell the same?

(those that are straight from the motherland and can hardly speak Engrish)

I can dig that. My October/November trip will likely be similarly unpredictable, so maybe the BA could help me prepare for that.

Preponderance of fish oils/sauces in their diet; way less beef.

Also, hardly any dairy.
