1. You don't have to rotate the platform.
2. You do have storage options with a platform - we got some drawers under ours
3. Our platform *looks* like a box spring if you're worried about appearance or matching previous bed decor.
4. Many say the box spring has more comfort, but that's only if you get a standard mattress. GFTrunkie and I bought a split-standard-foam-top mattess, and it has been excellent
. . .and we don't have to turn.
