I thought the same thing but I'm actually very happy with my H1. Fortunately, it was built before GM took over AMG and a lot of the smaller components used were from all of the big 3. Ford ignition, Chrysler tail lights (Jeep), Dodge seatbelts. Everything else is AMG.
