I dunno if you already know of this place but prolly since you pretty much know Disney inside & out

So my middle was given his uncle that's ( C-6's Bro-in-Law ) who lives near Yosemite's G- SCALE OUTDOOR train.

He had it when they lived in Pleasanton in their back yard and did quite extensive work on it, built many lil buildings etc for it and even had a car that sprayed weed killer on the weeds growing in the path

anyhooooooo they moved up to Groveland near Yosemite and yeah he created a new setting & track design there.

He had decided it was time to take it down and well he bestowed it to Nick and it will now be in his yard in Pasadena
Nick wanted to learn more on the trains and designs etc... he found out about this place

https://lalsrm.org
and we went to check it out last week.

We were lucky as one of the volunteers offered us a tour of the place so yeah we followed him along.... we learned all about the things they do there but most importantly that the lil train that you can ride on is like Walts
The barn there is Walts personal Barn where he would work on his train at his home. We didn't get to go into the barn as its only opened on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Many of Walt's personal items are IN it even a phone that ONLY Mrs Walt was allowed to call him on

Anyhoooooo if your in the LA area sometime you might wanna go and yeah try to make it on the 3rd Sunday of a month so you can go in his Barn
It was gonna get torn down but his daughter said and donated it and many things of his train to them

We all rode on the lil train and its fun! I recommend buying a Ticket < pun intended

[ was gonna add a few s butt my phone & or Puter are not cooperating ]

No I didn't know about it so thanks for the heads up. I'm putting it on my list.
Thank you for the info.

That's great that the family train is getting passed on to another generation.
You'll have to share some picts once it's up and running.
