My recollection is a bit hazy, but some of the guys were convinced that the owner would probably have to pay a huge fine in addition to the fee to get the car towed up the hill, so they were going to go strip the car of valuable parts (seats, wheels, etc) then claim it had been stolen and dumped there. I *think* someone (maybe George) convinced them that the police were well aware that there had been an S2000 drive that day and it would have been a really hard to convince the police that someone had just pushed a stolen car down the hill on the same day.

BBQ this summer, but I don't know if everyone would want to make the trek this far. 

That's ridiculous. Probably worth the drive to Vancouver - you can usually get return flights for around CAD 300-350.
