Oh no, working with Japanese and Chinese clients you would soon realise that they are far more adept at arranging meetings for the sake of arranging meetings than the Brits or the Yanks could ever be!!!!

Meeting with a mainland Chinese company today .... 2 people from our firm, 13~14 people from their side most of the day!! And at least 7 of them did not say one thing during the meeting!!
