and the writing recognition on it is very good -I'm very impressed

 

estimated battery life is 5 hours 14 minutes currently. I'm testing it unplugged for the first time after running the batteries down... we'll see how she does...

 

I might switch back given that. . . dunno.

 

well, I'd try one out first, but I'm able to write normally and I'd estimate I get 6 to 8 words out before having to correct one. :vB: is rather difficult though, it doesn't like pairing characters and letters other that your stand parenthesis, bracket and slash? it hates that one, but I've learned to workd around it... all in all pretty nice though, not very slow at all. I'm a fast typer so it won't replace that unless I'm working with it folded into a tablet... plus it has a half and half mode where you can write a word on letter at a time for the hard ones and correct individual letters, so I use that when writing in any kind of code...
